A walking tour through the city, where you’ll see Egypt without the glamour, the local alleys, the church, the mosque, Queen Hatshepsut’s port, the former phosphate mining plant, and Sultan Selim’s fortress. During the tour, you can buy spices, coffee, tea, oils, clothing, tobacco, cigarettes, hookah pipes, and cosmetics.

Every Thursday, we host local markets in the city—meat, vegetables, and fruits. There’s no problem visiting the market on this day.
